In 2000, Dawn Roan earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Harvard University, with a Language Citation in Russian. She has also completed extensive undergraduate coursework in English, math, and folklore and graduate coursework in human development and education. Her main interest is in the development of brain and behavior and in learning. She is an expert standardized test-taker with 99th-percentile scores on multiple standardized tests. She has successfully taught thousands of students how to navigate a wide range of standardized tests, even when the discipline is not necessarily her domain of expertise (e.g. PRAXIS).

During the past 20+ years, Dawn has tutored and taught thousands of students from a variety of backgrounds, ages 5 to 72, in almost every subject imaginable.
